• The funds collected will be destined for the enlargement of a production plant for the elaboration of an organ preservation solution developed by the laboratory. Thus, the UNC Laboratory of Hemoderivatives will be able to supply the national demand for this medical product widely used in ablation and transplant procedures, mainly required by INCUCAI (the National Coordinating Center for Ablation and Implants), replacing imports and with export projection.   • During a ceremony led by Rector Juri, UNC honored Mr. Carlos Quenan as UNC’s Distinguished Visitor. Mr. Quenan is a Doctor in Economy Sciences who has been residing in France for 30 years and working as a professor at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle and as a senior advisor to the French Education Ministry.  At the UNC‘s Rectorate's Graduation Hall, Mr. Quenan delivered a conference called: “Latin America and Argentina in an unstable and conflictive world”.   • The guide includes general recommendations aimed at promoting inclusive and non-sexist use of language within the UNC environment, mainly at the UNC Office of Institutional Communication and other university communication areas and offices. It also offers a tool to produce images and audiovisual content that do not reproduce stereotypes and that reflects the gender and body diversity that exists throughout the world. This Guide was introduced within the framework of the “National Day for the Elimination of Gender-based Violence in the Media”. It will be available for downloading at the institutional website.   • The Vocational Orientation Department at UNC Office of Students’ Affairs is offering online workshops called: “Reflecting on the selection of a university study”. Enrollment is open for those who have already finished secondary school. As of March 15, vacancies will be open for those who are attending the last secondary school course.

  • This call deals with the initiative of guaranteeing access to a nutritious diet for UNC students who may show any kind of vulnerability index. This call will be open until March 25, 2022. Regularly attending university or pre-university students at UNC’s 15 faculties during the 2022 academic year may register. Students who get the benefit will obtain access to the possibility of either having lunch at the UNC University Lunchroom or taking away their meal. (03.14.2022)
