The advanced technician in Bromatology is trained to perform tasks in food industry laboratories and institutes related to nutrition. Their training in the use of statistical data, laboratory material, computer software and methodology in natural and exact sciences applied to the field of nutrition allows them to be familiar with the techniques, resources and materials to carry out quality controls.
They may work as technicians specializing in the handling of raw materials, manufacturing methods, stages of production, kinds of containers and storage conditions.
They are qualified to work as distribution inspectors focused on compliance with regional and national regulations in the nutrition field. Respecting the regulations of the Argentine food products code and the Law of Merchandise Identification is one of their duties, as well as developing and implementing research and action projects related to their area of knowledge.
